1. What are the operational hours and the rates of the available planetarium shows? The National Planetarium is open daily from 9.30am until 4.30pm (except on Monday, Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji). Large Format Film 'SOS Planet' : For adult is only RM 6 and for children (3 - 12 years old) is only RM 4. You click here for more information about the rate, and here for the show schedule. Please contact 03-22735484 (during office hours, Mon-Fri 8.00am-5pm) for more information on special rates for school groups visit or any special activities. 2. How to come to the National Planetarium?
You may reach here by taxi, bus, KL Hop-On-Hop-Off Double Decker Tour Bus Service or by walking from KL Sentral. 3. Is there any discount /concession? Discount or concession will be given only to the school visit of at least 30 students (in school uniform) per-entry.
4. How can I be informed for the upcoming activities, events and promotions at the National Planetarium ? During your visit to the National Planetarium, kindly please leave your name card (with email address stated) to the counter ticket. We will subsequently send you updates on our activities, events and promotions. 5. How many people can fit in the dome theater? Our dome theater is able to fit in about 190 persons.

7. What are the theme of exhibitions at the National Planetarium? The National Planetarium is divided into two exhibition theme (i.e. Astronomy & Space Exploration) with interactive appearance. Please be informed that we are currently upgrading our Astronomy exhibits. For the latest updates, please refer to our website at http://www.angkasa.gov.my/planetarium.
8. Is there any parking fee at the National Planetarium? No. Parking is free of charge for National Planetarium visitors.
9. Is there access for the disabled or less fortunate, pregnant mothers and parents with strollers? Yes there is. There are signs at the entrance gate that visitors with disability are allowed to be dropped off inside the area. Just talk to the guards at the entrance of the National Planetarium and tell them of your needs and don't forget to ask them to show you the drop-off point. The area is situated at the back of the Planetarium and you can easily push your wheelchair or stroller from that point forward.
